Does the Afterlife actually exist?
Millions of people worldwide have wrestled with the question; is there really an Afterlife? Various interest groups have devoted their entire lives to proving its existence yet much of the evidence is largely anecdotal and continues to be man made.
In 1993 all of that changed. A little known experiment was conducted that turned conventional thinking on its head. For the first time ever, actual physical evidence became available that was so explosive, the media didn’t know what to make of it. Over a five year period more phenomena was witnessed at one single location than had ever been seen before in the history of the paranormal research. Spirit faces and messages appeared on factory-sealed film; fully materialized hands were observed by a number of independent witnesses and several leading Scientist’s were left speechless by what they discovered. Despite exhaustive tests and re-tests no evidence of fraud was ever uncovered and that is how it has remained to this day.
In the history of paranormal research, the Scole experiment continues to be one of the most remarkable studies of the last century. What took place at Scole has divided expert opinion like no other. Questions continue to be asked about how the experiments were set up, yet the physical evidence is almost impossible to refute. Should the Scole experiment turn out to be little more than an elaborate hoax, it will be forever remembered as one of the most remarkable pieces of fraud ever conceived. There was thousands of hours of investigation, several books written and much deliberation about what actually took place but what’s even more remarkable is the fact that nobody has ever come close to reproducing that fateful experiment until now.
In conducting this new research, our goal is to produce a series of events that will allow us to ask a whole new series of questions. We will be replicating almost all of what took place at Scole and gaining fresh insights from a number of study groups worldwide. . In conducting this new research, our goal is to produce an environment that will allow us to ask a whole new series of questions. We will be replicating almost all of what took place at Scole and gaining fresh insights from a number of study groups worldwide. No stone will be left unturned. To fully understand what happened at Scole, we need to push the very limits of paranormal research and open our minds to every possibility imaginable. We don’t have the same constraints or limitations that the original experimental group had in 1993. The technology available to us is virtually limitless in how we capture and record new information. Live streaming events are already being planned so the viewer sees what we see in real-time. A panel of experts has been convened to examine the evidence and put an end to all the speculation and endless series of questions.
“According to eyewitness reports, both newspapers arrived in pristine condition (with no yellowing) despite their age”
During the early 90’s, the technology to record events at Scole was still in its infancy and night-vision cameras were a luxury very few could afford. Fast forward to 2015 and we have miniature cameras with infra-red, night vision and 4K resolution as standard. The days of analyzing grainy pixelated footage are long gone. Today, very little can move without it being recorded and what the cameras can’t see or hear, highly specialized equipment like an Anechoic Chamber, Triaxial ELF meters and Thermal imaging sensors, can!
In an ideal world, all the guests who attended Scole would have been screened to eliminate any suggestion of interference or collusion including background checks wherever possible. The location would have been locked down outside of filming hours and fully secured using CCTV with every movement in and out recorded but who could have predicted what was to unfold? The Scole Experiment became a victim of its own success. The period in which the experiments took place and access to technology that is commonplace today were all limiting factors. For any similar experiment to have a chance of success these issues and more needed to be addressed. Not just to appease the general public, but to answer one of the most fundamental questions of all; “Does the Afterlife actually exist?”
(pictured above) During the period of the Scole Experiment, the group participants received a number of Apports all of which materialized at various locations. Some of the more remarkable finds included a selection of newspapers from 1944/45, one of which claimed to have been delivered by Helen Duncan with the headline reporting how she had been imprisoned under the UK ‘Witchcraft Act’ for conducting materialisation séances. According to eyewitness reports, both newspapers arrived in pristine condition (with no yellowing) despite their age – although both papers deteriorated quite quickly afterwards. The paper was examined by PIRA (the Paper Industry Research Association) who were able to confirm that the paper was in fact authentic wartime print and contained a significant amount of Lignin; and was printed using a process called ‘letterpress’ which is no longer in use today.
